We can scan and capture lot and expiration dates and can send back to PMS.

Does it have an offline mode?

The system is cloud based so if you have an internet connection to the device you will be able to continue counting.
Even if the integration goes down between the PMS there is a quick count mode.

Will I need to upgrade or update the Hardware/software?

The Hardware is refreshed every 4 to 6 years.
Software updates are real time and no manual intervention.

Can I fill a partial (IOU)?

Yes, there is a workflow to accommodate partial fill scenarios.
